ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Drivers might find it a bit difficult to navigate downtown St. Louis streets Thanksgiving Day with a couple of large events taking place.

The inaugural Hungry Turkey 5K and the 2013 Ameren Missouri Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place Thursday at 7:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., respectively.

A number of streets will be impacted, starting Wednesday morning, as well as no parking designations, including:

STREET CLOSURES

Wednesday, 9 a.m. until Thursday, noon:
• East and West curb lanes of 4th Street from Market to Chestnut

Thursday, 2 a.m. until Thursday, noon:
• 4th Street from Walnut to Chestnut and Market from Memorial Drive to Broadway

Wednesday, 6 p.m. until Thursday, noon:
• Convention Plaza from Broadway to 7th Street

Thursday, 6 a.m. until Thursday, noon:

• Broadway from Cole to Market
• 6th from Convention Plaza to Chestnut
• 7th from Convention Plaza to Locust (subject to access for 7th Street Garage and Embassy Suites Hotel guests)
• 8th from Pine to Market
• 9th from Mayfair Plaza to Lucas
• Convention Plaza from 4th to Broadway
