ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – St. Louis drivers seem to be switching out its mode of transportation from four wheels to two, according to a recent report by Missouri Public Interest Research Group.

The "Transportation in Transition: A Look at Changing Travel Patterns in America's Biggest Cities," shows car commuting has decreased while biking has increased in the St. Louis area.

Workers commuting by car fell 2 percent between 2000 and 2007 to 2011, according to the report.
