MOUNT OLIVE, Ill. (KSDK) – A teacher's strike in the Mount Olive School District has reached its end.

The district's board of education and the Mount Olive Education Association met for five hours Saturday, which ended in both parties reaching a mutual tentative agreement.

The terms of the negotiations have not yet been released, but the Mount Olive Education Association membership is expected to vote on it Sunday and the Board of Education at its Wednesday night meeting.

Based on the tentative agreement, school is expected to resume as normal Monday.
