ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – The City of St. Louis will open its Cold Weather Overflow Shelter with the threat of freezing cold temperatures Monday night.

The shelter will open for its 12th night at the 12th and Park Rec Center, starting at 6:30 p.m.

According to Maggie Crane with the City of St. Louis, more than 760 people have been served during previous nights of extreme cold.

The low for Monday night is expected to be at 6 degrees.
