COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KSDK) – A fourth man has been charged in a string of Metro East armed robberies stemming from postings on online classified site Craigslist.

Desmund Marshall, 20, has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is currently being held on a $500,000 bond. The charges come six days after he and three 17-year-old suspects were arrested in connection with the robberies.

The four men are accused of using Craigslist to lure unsuspecting victims on Dec. 15, 17 and 22.During the first two robberies, victims were attacked with a baseball bat after answering ads for a television. While the first victim escaped without having anything stolen, the second victim was robbed of cash.
