CNN - When a major world city and telecom giant join forces to put on a show, you can guarantee that sparks will fly.
London has teamed up with mobile service provider "Voda-Fone" to bring a new dimension to New Year's Eve celebrations. Thousands of people will be lining the iconic river Thames for London's annual fireworks display. And it will much more than a visual spectacular.
That's right -- there will be sweet smells.
"There's going to be floating oranges that you can pop and releases an orange smell, peach smell will be released from the sky, and there's even going to be banana confetti," officials said.
