WASHINGTON — A couple welcomed twins born a year apart... sort of.
The babies joined the world three minutes apart, with one born in 2013 and the other in 2014.
A girl, Lorraine Yaleni Begazo, was born 11:58 p.m. on New Year's Eve at Washington Hospital Center. Her brother Brandon Ferdinando Begazo was born the next day at 12:01 a.m.
Lorraine checked into the world at 5 pounds, 10 ounces while her little brother weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces. Mother Yaleni Tohalino was doing just fine after the twins were born. Father Warren Begazo says he's happy his older son Dylan now has siblings.
