MOLINE ACRES, Mo. (KSDK) – A Moline Acres condo tower's residents could be forced out of their homes Wednesday.

Firefighters said that both elevators in the building on Lewis and Clark stopped working, and the condo association won't have the money to fix the elevators.

Disabled people who use wheelchairs live in the building, firefighters say, and have no way to get to their condos.

The Riverview fire chief is meeting with the building inspector Wednesday morning to decide what to do about the building.

We'll provide updates on KSDK.com and NewsChannel 5 with the latest developments.
