ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The former Lindenwood University wrestler charged with knowing exposing his sexual partners to HIV is now accused of also filming some of those encounters without the victims' knowledge, according to a news release.
Police say some of those videos – featuring 22-year-old Michael Johnson – appear to have been filmed on Lindenwood University's campus.
Johnson was initially charged in October with recklessly risking infection of another with HIV, prompting his expulsion and removal from Lindenwood's wrestling team.
Police are currently asking for the public's help in identifying more potential victims for their criminal investigation.
Johnson may have met such sexual partners through his activities as a student at the university or through social media.
The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office requests that anyone who may have had an intimate relationship with Johnson or who may have information pertinent to this investigation contact the St. Charles Detective Bureau at 636-949-3330.
