ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A family of eight -- including three kids and a baby -- need a new place to call home after an early morning fire damaged theirs in North City.

Investigators think the fire started on the main floor of their home early Sunday morning in the 5600 block of Pamplin Place. The Red Cross said it is ready to provide shelter to the family if needed.

The entire family made it out of the home. An elderly woman was treated for smoke inhalation, but not other major injuries were reported.

No additional information was immediately available.
