ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – In wake of epic snowfall and plunging temperatures, the St. Louis Public School district announced Tuesday that it will adjust its academic calendar to make up for the six days students missed class.
The district will cancel a Professional Development day scheduled for Feb. 14, instead using it as a normal school day for students and staff. It will also cancel the parent/teacher conference day scheduled for March 14.
Snow, ice and extreme temperatures led the district to cancel classes from Jan. 6 through 10 and Jan. 21.
No decision will be made about the remaining four snow days until the threat of winter weather subsides.
