ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – There was balance in "The Force" at this weekend's Hackathon at Union Station.
A team called "The Force" (see what we did there?) took the $50,000 prize in the coding contest sponsored by Global Hack.
They competed against several other teams to solve a technology-based problem – and they only had 48 hours to do it.
The nonprofit Global Hack hosts quarterly Hackathon competitions in an effort to lure tech talent to St. Louis.
The winning teams eventually go on to compete for one million dollars.
