ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – It's hard to be a man in the Gateway City.
That's according to a list released by Men's Health magazine, which ranked St. Louis 98 out of the 100 cities it analyzed in its list of the best and worst cities for men.
Criteria included colon cancer, smoking and binge-drinking rates, fruit and vegetable consumption, mental health, obesity, number of fast food restaurants, number of people with bachelor's degrees, crime, ratio of men to cost, cost of living and percentage of the population who live near parks.
Detroit and Philadelphia were the only cities worse for men, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Seattle was ranked the best city, with Madison, San Jose, Raleigh and Minneapolis rounding out the rest of the top five.
