MADISON COUNTY, Ill. (KSDK) – After a vehicle was pulled over in Godfrey Monday, authorities discovered that the driver had a revoked license, and the passenger had a bag of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

At 11:54 p.m., a Madison County Sheriff's Deputy pulled Brandon Wittman, 32, over for a registration-related offense. He was then taken into custody for having a revoked driver's license. Wittman's driver's license was revoked due to a 2003 DUI conviction. He had also been convicted for driver while license revoked on Jan. 13, which qualified him for a felony charge.

Officers searching the vehicle then discovered a bag of meth and drug paraphernalia, which was linked to passenger Melissa Wittman, 46.

Bond has been set at $5,000 for Brandon Wittman and $20,000 for Melissa Wittman.
