ST. LOUIS (KSDK) –Local cooks fought for their honor Saturday during the Lumiere Cajun Cook-Off and Tony Chachere's Crawfish Broil.

The event was held under a warm tent in Soulard Market Park. Competitors were judged by local St. Louis celebrities and food professionals.

The winner received a monetary prize.

It's one of many events leading up to the big Mardi Gras Parade and Party on March 1.
