UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (KSDK) – Save the trees or make way for the trolley tracks?
That's the debate in the Delmar Loop, and we're no closer to a resolution after University City council members tabled a vote on the proposal Monday night.

The city manager says the vote was delayed because they were waiting to hear if the Federal Transit Administration will approve final plans for the trolley project. This comes after some residents showed up Monday to protest tree removal.
"It's not that I'm a treehugger," Cirri Moran said. "It's just that things with the trolley are being pushed through under the table, it seems."
The mayor did not want to comment. Crews cut down a line of trees on DeBaliviere last week.
