UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (KSDK) – The mound of asphalt on the corner of Hanley and Pershing has been removed, crews say.

Caution tape, cones and boards are now in its place.

The whole mess started after pipes burst in a foreclosed home. It shot water all over the road, forcing crews to keep scraping away. That's what caused the mound of asphalt.

The city is still trying to figure out who will be on the hook for all the repair costs.
