ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A 15-year-old is dead after a drive-by shooting in north St. Louis Friday night. No suspects have been identified.
It happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of University and Glasgow. Donivan Chatman, 15, another 15-year-old male and an unidentified third person were standing on the sidewalk when a maroon vehicle driving south on Glasgow passed University and stopped.
The vehicle reversed and stopped at the intersection, where an unknown occupant fired multiple gunshots at the three victims – hitting Chatman in the torso, chest and leg.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The second victim was not injured, and the third fled the scene before police arrived.
Authorities are trying to find the third witness. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers. All calls are anonymous, and you could be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
