ST. PETERS, Mo. (KSDK) – The family of a St. Charles Community College student who has been missing since Wednesday is asking volunteers to gather on Saturday to canvass the area.

Volunteers are slated to meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at #1 Academy Place to look for 19-year-old Bahia Bisharat.

Bisharat's birthday was on Tuesday. She was last seen last Wednesday, when classmates saw her at SCC's Dardenne Prairie campus, but say she didn't go to class. Her car was found in the parking lot with a note that said "good bye." It's unclear whether the note was in her handwriting.

Police say they have no reason to suspect foul play, though Bisharat's family says they believe she was kidnapped.

Witnesses claim they may have seen Bisharat at a restaurant in mid-Missouri.

Anyone with information about Bisharat's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
