CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (KSDK) – This year's Passover will hold a special significance to many, who will spend the holiday both celebrating and mourning.

People at the Chabad of Chesterfield were taking part in a traditional Seder Monday night.

Rabbi Avi Rubenfeld gave us some great perspective on how Jews should react to the tragedy in Overland Park.

"When you're a proud Jew, you earn people's respect," he said. "If you hide your Judaism, that's when you give fuel for the fire. So, if you're a proud Jew, there's no such thing as anti-Semitism."

Passover began Monday at sundown and will last until the evening of April 22.
