ST. CHARLES COUNTY (KSDK) – Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster says he may give a St. Charles man a pass out of prison.

Mike Anderson was convicted 15 years ago for his role in an armed robbery at a Burger King.

He was supposed to go to jail for 13 years, but because of a clerical error, he was never forced to serve out his sentence.

Since then, he has lived his life as a husband and small business owner…until the SWAT team took him into custody last year.

Koster says if Anderson sues the Department of Corrections, he'll consider giving him credit for "time served" during the years that he was free.
