While the men of Today in St. Louis grow their playoff beards to support the St. Louis Blues, many Blues players and fans are also adding facial fuzz for a good cause.

The Blues annual Beard-a-thon raises money for the Blues 14 Fund, which then sends the money to the Joshua Chamberlain Society.

By pledging to support a beard on the Blues Beard-a-thon website, you can help injured veterans and/or their families.

It's been the mission of the Joshua Chamberlain Society for years--and it's something the Blues are proud to support.

So far this year, the Beard-a-thon has raised almost $15,000 for local veterans.

Since 2012, this charity has generated almost $50,000.

So go ahead---let the whiskers flourish! Or support someone else who is!

It truly is a win-win situation!
