ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – The manager of the Clinton-Peabody Housing Complex and two alleged co-conspirators are charged with using stolen names, social security numbers, false W-2s and false dependent information to file federal income tax returns starting in January 2011 and August 2012.

They're also charged with stealing personal information from state inmates.

A federal indictment says Marsha Harrington, who was the manager of the complex at the time, allegedly stole social security numbers and other personal information from housing applications. Calvin Shaw and Larry Corner – the co-defendants in the case – are accused of obtaining personal information from state inmates to file false returns.

Conspiracy to commit identity theft carries a five year maximum penalty, and identity theft carries a 15 year maximum.
