ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A 27-year-old woman told police that she and a male acquaintance had been shot inside Tucker's Bar by her ex-boyfriend early Saturday morning, according to a news release. The two victims are currently listed in stable condition.

Police say the shooting happened at around 12:40 a.m. inside of the south city bar. The suspect walked fired shots at the victim with a handgun before fleeing in a black newer-model SUV with two women, according to the news release.

A 29-year-old man sustained two gunshot wounds to the abdomen, and was taken to the local hospital. Police say he has given conflicting accounts of what happened.

During the investigation, a second hospital told police a woman had been in shot in the wrist. The woman told authorities that she and the male victim had been shot by her ex-boyfriend.

The suspect is not in custody.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
