ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – The family of a prominent St. Louis attorney who died suddenly is looking for the man who tried to save his life.

Ralph Kalish collapsed one week ago while riding his bike near the Chain of the Rocks Bridge.

A man named 'Anthony' stopped to help, but left before the family could thank him.

Besides practicing law, Kalish was also a playwright and actor.

Last year, he wrote and starred in a one man play about baseball general manager Branch Rickey, the man who signed Jackie Robinson.

Kalish was also an investor in Crushed Red restaurants.

He was 63 years old.
