HIGHLAND, Ill. (KSDK) – No one was seriously injured when a pick-up truck hauling a trailer flipped over on Interstate 70 near mile marker 28 Saturday afternoon, temporarily closing the highway.

Illinois State Highway Patrol says a woman driving a passenger car thought the pick-up truck was coming into her lane, before swerving and over-correcting. The truck flipped over, trapping the passenger inside, police say.

Both vehicles ended up off the road, police say, and the highway was closed for an unspecified amount of time.

No additional information about the accident was immediately available.
