ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A CVS employee admitted Wednesday to embezzling more than $30,000 from the Maplewood store where he worked between 2013 and 2014.

Demetrius Neal, 28, pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of an access device after he submitted phony returns in the store's terminals and either took cash or directed credits to credit card and bank accounts that he controlled.

Neal faces up to 10 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines. He is scheduled to be sentenced on September 2, 2014.
