ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A 50-year-old KFNS radio employee was arrested Friday evening after a dispute with a coworker got physical, according to a news release from St. Louis police.
A police spokesperson says authorities first received a call about the incident – which happened at KFNS' offices in the 1300 block of Hampton Avenue – at about 5:30 p.m. Friday. Officers say a man told them he'd been assaulted by his boss.
Police say the suspect went into work to confront coworkers who made negative comments about him and his family. The victim – identified as a 47-year-old man – got into a verbal dispute with the suspect.
The victim told police the suspect punched him when he was walking away. The suspect told police he was defending himself after the victim shoved him.
The suspect was taken into custody. Police say his name will be released if charges are issued.
