ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Two men in their 20s were injured early Saturday morning when two suspects ran past them and starting shooting in their direction, according to the account they gave police.

It happened between 3:50 a.m. and 4:05 a.m. in the 700 block of Lenor K. Sullivan.

Police say they learned about the shooting when the two victims showed up at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg.

They told police that the suspects fled in a white late 90s four door Oldsmobile with Illinois plates. The suspects were described as men who are 5'10". One was wearing all black, and the second was wearing all white.

Five other people in their 20s – including one women – were with the victims when the shooting happened. Police say they weren't injured.

The two victims are currently listed in stable condition.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
