ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – As part of a district-wide effort to quell prostitution, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has released photos of the 13 men charged with soliciting prostitutes in the first district in recent days.

Other efforts have including publicly shaming "johns" with bright yellow reminders.

"If prostitutes didn't have customers, they'd be put out of business," Dan Howard, District 1 Commander of the St. Louis Police Department, tweeted back in April.
