FLORISSANT, Mo. (KSDK) - A north county mom is taking her message to the streets.

She says a thief stole a package that contained her son's military uniforms.

Meg May's son is a Marine corporal and just got home from Camp Pendleton.

They were waiting on that package -- including his uniforms.

The package disappeared, so the Florissant mom made a sign for all her neighbors to see and hopefully for the thief to change his mind.

The sign was put up this weekend and asks the thief to bring back the uniforms.

She says last Wednesday a neighbor saw a man steal the UPS package from her doorstep and run down the street.

That neighbor called Florissant police and they are now investigating.

May says her 24-year-old Marine corporal son has served in the Middle East and in Okinawa.

He was most recently stationed at Camp Pendleton and had to ship some of his belongings home.

She says he also had a Wii gaming console and games inside the box, but it's the uniforms that mean the most to the family.

"I think it's something that he earned, and I just think that someday he can give them to his kids," May said.

She is offering a reward to anyone that will help make an arrest in this case.

If you have any information about this theft you are asked to call your local police department.
