(KSDK) – An England woman can sleep and breathe a bit easier after an exterminator removed a 3-foot wasp nest from a guest room bed.

According to the Telegraph, 5,000 wasps built the nest after the guest window was left open for months and no one had been in there.

Pest control worker John Birkett told multiple outlets he had never seen anything like it in his life. He told The Guardian that there must have been 700 queen wasps in the hive.

Birkett was able to spray and kill the wasps and save the bed's blanket.
