Collinsville, IL (KSDK) - A Belleville, Illinois man has been charged after police say he invaded a Collinsville home and threatened to kill someone.
Police were called to the 100 block of Courtland Place on March 8 just before 6 a.m. for a home invasion. The victim said 31-year-old Andrew Chapman confronted him with a weapon and threatened to shoot him in the head.
The victim was able to run to a neighbor's home to call police.
Chapman turned himself in at the Belleville Police Department and he was transported to the Collinsville Police Department where he was charged with intimidation and criminal trespass to a residence. Bond was set at $40,000.
