ST. LOUIS – The manager of a medical clinic has pleaded guilty to receiving mis-branded Botox.

Thomas Greg Martin, 52, pleaded guilty to one felony charge of receiving mis-branded drugs. He faces up to three years in prison and fines up to $250,000 when he is sentenced March 7.

Court documents state Martin operated Aestheticare LLC, which provided cosmetic procedures in St. Louis County. Between March 2010 and Sept. 2012 Martin made more than 30 purchases of "Botox (Turkish)" for $344.99 per vial. The FDA-approved drug usually runs around $525 per vial.

Martin then used the drugs on patients without informing them of the source.
