ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. (KSDK) – A warrant on a separate charge has been issued for a man accused of murdering an East St. Louis woman, according to State Attorney for St. Clair County Brendan Kelly.

Kelly issued a warrant for Montrell Cooper for violating the probation order of not having contact with 25-year-old Michelle Rowling.

Rowling, a mother of two, was found dead in her apartment on Saturday.

The warrant comes with a $200,000 bond. Cooper has not yet been arrested.
