ELLISVILLE, Mo. (KSDK) – The St. Louis County Prosecutor charged two men for the robbery of an area jewelry store Tuesday afternoon.

Stefan Douglas, 23, and Tremayne Kinsey, 19, both last known to have lived in Michigan, have each been charged with second-degree robbery.

According to the prosecuting attorney's office, Ellisville police responded to a robbery at Clarkson Jewelry store in the 1300 block of Clarkson Clayton Center. A man walked into the store and stole a Rolex watch.

A sales clerk attempted to pursue him, which lead to the fight, and the owner of the store fired gun shots at him but missed. The owner was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and later released.

The man hopped into a red Hyundai with another person and drove away before crashing near the Chesterfield Mall.

Both men are being held, with Douglas on a $75,000 bond and Kinsey on a $50,000 bond.
