ST. LOUIS – Three males and a female are in custody after a man says they shot at him after an argument over a dog.

According to Schron Jackson, a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the 20-year-old man got into an altercation with a 50-year-old female, 20-year-old male, 16-year-old male, and 27-year-old male, who believed the 20-year-old man stole their dog.

During the altercation at a gas station at Grand and Alberta, the 20-year-old man's car window was broken. He started to drive to police headquarters downtown when he says the suspects fired a shot near Tucker and Spruce.

Jackson says no evidence has been recovered of a shot fired, and a firearm has not been found.

The four suspects left the area after the victim says the shot was fired, but were taken into custody in the 4000 block of Schiller.

Nobody was injured.
