ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Police are searching for a man possibly involved in a shooting on Delmar Loop Sunday evening.

Monday afternoon, St. Louis police released a YouTube video via red-light camera footage from American Traffic Solutions showing a man fleeing the scene following a shooting and car accident.

According to police, a gunman got out of a black SUV and shot and hit a 21-year-old man who was sitting in his car in traffic on southbound Skinker just north of Delmar. The victim backed into a car then collided with two other cars after going southbound and turning east on Delmar.

The passenger got out and stole another car and fled the scene, according to police. The victim is in critical but stable condition.

Police found narcotics as well as a 9 millimeter gun in the car.
