St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - St. Louis Police are looking for the gunman who opened fire on two people who were attacked while sitting inside a parked car in south city early New Years Day.

Officers responded to a call for shots fired in the 4300 block of McRee around 2:45am Wednesday and found the victims near the car where they were shot.

Both of the victims were men, one in his thirties who was shot in the neck, another man said to be in his forties who was hit by a bullet to the hip. Both of the men were taken to hospitals and are expected to survive.

Investigators say they have no suspect description and are not certain of a motive for the assault.
