LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. – A Facebook tip led authorities to a man wanted for assaulting his grandmother.

Lincoln County authorities say Mark Kerpash threatened to kill his grandmother on Monday night after she refused to write him a check. Then they say he assaulted her, threatened to kill her, and took off with his girlfriend, 27-year-old Jennifer Coleman, who also goes by the name Kelli Coleman.

The grandmother has a broken pelvis and is receiving treatment at a local hospital.

Authorities say they captured Kerpash and Coleman in Winfield after Lincoln County citizens flooded the sheriff's Facebook page with tips.

Each suspect is charged with first-degree elder abuse, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, and financial exploitation of an elderly person.

Kerpash, who is on parole, was denied bond. Coleman's bond is set at $500,000 cash-only.
