CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – A body was discovered in the yard of a preschool along Olive Boulevard as a result of a hit-and-run accident, the Chesterfield Police Department said Wednesday.
According to Chesterfield Police Captain Steve Lewis, a pedestrian was struck by a car near the 13700 block of Olive, just west of Highway 141. Investigators found the person in the front yard of the King of Kings Lutheran Church Preschool at 6:45 a.m.
One westbound lane of Olive was shut down as a result of the investigation.
The victim was identified as 41-year-old Roy Joseph of Chesterfield.
The investigation remains ongoing.
