ST. LOUIS – Charges have been filed against a man accused of shooting a man multiple times, killing him.

Leslie Woods, 19, is charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action for the death of 20-year-old Romell Clemons.

Leah K. Freeman, a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, says the shooting happened shortly before 1 a.m. Jan. 8, 2014.

Clemons was found in the 2600 block of Hickory with gunshot wounds to his abdomen, clavicle, and arm. He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Woods is held without bond.
