ST PETERS, Mo. - A St. Peters alderman will spend a year on probation after pleading no contest to a couple of drug charges.

Tommy Roberts was charged with two marijuana related misdemeanors. He was arrested at his home in August.

NewsChannel 5 spoke with Roberts shortly after that arrest, and he said the pot was for a medical issue, to battle Hodgkin's lymphoma.
