ST. CHARLES, Mo. – A man robbed a comic book store employee Monday morning in St. Charles.

Police say a fantasy Shop employee was approached by the suspect in the parking lot of the store in the 2400 block of W. Clay Street. The man demanded the employee turn over the bank bag, and implied he had a weapon.

After the suspect was given the bag, he ran north on Droste Road.

Police notified schools in the area, and they were placed on lockdown as a precaution.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man between the ages of 25 and 35, standing 5'8" tall, has a medium build, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He weighs approximately 150-175 pounds, and was last seen wearing a navy blue St. Louis Cardinals jacket, dark blue pants, and dark-colored tennis shoes.
