ST. LOUIS COUNTY – An investigation is underway after a south St. Louis County bank was robbed Friday afternoon.

Officer Brian Schellman with the St. Louis County Police Department says a man walked into the Commerce Bank in the 4100 block of Rusty Road around 5 p.m. and announced a robbery. He did not show or imply he had a weapon.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned Caucasian or light-skinned African-American man. He stands around 6'0" to 6'2" tall, 25-35 years-old, with a medium build. He has a thin scruffy beard and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, cargo pants, and a black ball cap with white emblem.
