ST. LOUIS – A man was stabbed several times in north St. Louis Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the area of N. Newstead and Ashland at 10:17 a.m. for a report of a cutting. The victim told police that he got into an argument with his female roommate. He said her brother and mother came to the home and assaulted him.

The brother is accused of hitting the victim with an object before trying to hit him with a vehicle. The mother is accused of stabbing the victim several times.

Police say the victim was uncooperative and refused to be taken to an area hospital. EMS workers treated him at the scene.

The suspects left the scene before officers arrived. No charges have been filed.
