ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Police are searching for people involved in a shooting incident that left one hospitalized on South Skinker at Southwood Tuesday afternoon.

According to police records, three people traveled northbound on South Skinker and preparing to make a left turn. The car behind them made a U-turn and fired shots at their car and struck the front-seat passenger. No one else was injured.

The other car fled the scene.

The shooting victim was hit in their upper back taken to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.

According to police, the group who was shot at were involved in an argument nearby prior to the shooting.

A fast-food restaurant's surveillance camera showed a new silver four-door Ford Fusion or possibly Taurus in the area.

Police describe the possible suspects as two men. The first man is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches, mid to late 20s, goatee, dark complexion and short hair. Police describe the second man as approximately 6 feet, 1 inch, mid to late 20s, beard, light complexion, short hair and he wore a hat.
