JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – An 8-year-old missing Jefferson City girl may be headed to St. Louis.
An Endangered Person Advisory has been issued for Eboni Kyashiah Coney-King, who was last seen at 100 Dix Road at 4:11 p.m. Thursday.
Police originally listed Eboni's age as 9.
Missouri State Highway Patrol officers say Eboni was seen leaving her school through a rear door with her aunt, Na'Dyia Curtis. Police say Curtis walked Eboni to her mother, Britney Coney, who was waiting nearby.
MSHP says surveillance video shows Eboni struggling when she sees Coney. There was a previously active child protection order against Coney. Police say they may be traveling in a black four-door 2010 Ford Fusion with an Illinois plate of R578957.
Eboni's father has jurisdictional custody over her. She is described as a black female standing 5'0" tall and weighing 75 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion. Eboni was last seen wearing a blue coat over a rainbow striped shirt, pink jeans, black shoes, and a purple backpack with peace signs.
Coney is described as a 27-year-old black female standing 5'4" tall, weighing 126 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Curtis is described as a 19-year-old black female standing 5'7" tall, weighing 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Authorities say Eboni could be headed to Curtis' home in St. Louis or Coney's home in Texas.
