ROLLA, Mo. – Three Rolla, Mo. residents are charged for an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant April 10.

Rolla police say they received a 911 call around 10:30 p.m. The caller said a man wearing a masked and armed with an "edged-weapon" entered the restaurant in the 900 block of Forum Drive and forced a female victim to the back of the restaurant and demanded cash from the register.

The man allegedly ran south on Forum Drive. Officers searched the immediate area but were unable to locate the suspect. Police say the victim said she received minor injuries.

Officers conducting the investigation say a lack of evidence and inconsistencies in the original report led them to arrest 21-year-old Jessica R. Taylor for stealing, filing a false report, and tampering with evidence, and 19-year-old Michael J. Wallenfang for stealing.

Dustin W. Taylor, 19, was taken into custody during a separate investigation, but was issued a summons for stealing related to this case.

Anyone with additional information about this incident is asked to call Det. Dillion with the Rolla Police Department at 537-308-1213 or the department's confidential tip hotline at 573-364-0111.
