ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A former convicted felon received an additional 10 years in prison Thursday, according to the U.S. Attorney's office of Eastern District of Missouri.
Curtis Adams, 27, received the term after being convicted of a felony count of being a felon in the possession of a firearm.
In 2013, Adams fled out of the 8100 block of Lurch Avenue after St. Louis County detectives approached him and others, according to court documents. He pulled a gun out on detectives who fired in defense.
Officers later caught Adams who fled the area again.
Adams had been convicted previously of state and federal charges.
